This useful block of land with potential is situated in the heart of the Vale of Evesham and is accessed via Common Road, which is within easy walking distance of the town centre.

The land, which extends to approximately 0.58 acres (0.23 ha), with an area of concreted hardstanding, is roughly triangular in shape and comprises a large, mainly flat, area to the North-East, narrowing down to have frontage to and a part of the river towpath (approximately 200' ( 60 metres).

The land was formerly used as a wharf, when commercial river traffic plied the River Avon from its confluence with the River Severn at Tewkesbury up to Stratford-upon-Avon.

Located just upstream of Evesham Lock, with its unique “A-framed” lock keeper’s cottage and Evesham weir which leads to the lock island.

Evesham is situated within the 'Vale' and has easy access from the South Midlands and the tourist mecca. of 'The Cotswolds' The Avon Navigation Trust licences craft on the river also taking an active role in the maintenance and improvement of the river for navigation purposes.

The old wharf site would lend itself to numerous recreational or other purposes (STPP if required) as undertaken in many riverside locations up and down the country.

Some 30 miles South of Birmingham City Centre, a large population is within easy driving distance with good motorway communications via the M40 (J16), M42 (J3) and M5 (J9) at Tewkesbury. There is an excellent rail service on the “Cotswold line” with trains from Evesham station Eastwards to Oxford and London (Paddington), and West to Worcester and Hereford. Th town centre of Evesham, with its many shops and restaurants, is only a 5-minute or so walk from the site.
